A two day conference followed by a day of school visits including Epsom College, International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) and Nexus International School
Following the success of IPSEF Asia in Kuala Lumpur in 2012 and 2013, IPSEF returns to Asia in March 2014. Having successfully established a platform where governments, investors, educators and the business community can be open and honest about the issues they face, IPSEF will develop further the themes that are relevant to the market place across Asia.
We will start with an overview of the Asia school market: trends, projections on pupil, teacher and school numbers, as well as the predicted fee income. This will set the context for discussions on education as an investment and the opportunities for developing a school brand and chain. We will hear from school groups that have established brands across the region, and why and how they did it.
We will review Malaysia’s plan to develop an educational hub is progressing, and invite schools of different curriculums that have recently opened in Malaysia to talk about their experiences.
Architects and their educational clients will discuss how to develop an effective partnership, and how to manage a school infrastructure programme. We will also look at the on-going facility management options.
These and other subjects will be addressed over the two days of 12th and 13th March, with school visits planned for Friday 14th. IPSEF therefore provides a unique blend of high level conference sessions with practical visits to some of the most innovative and new schools in the region.
