Lion Dance: Amazing Teamwork
Lion dance is known to bring good luck and fortune, however the dance has evolved into a more artistic art and a sport centred on the lion's expression and the natural movements during performances that featured multiple intelligences. Furthermore, the lion's movements are closely synchronised with the music of pounding drums, clashing cymbals, and resonating gongs.
Join us if you want to learn how to work in a team; communication, planning, problem solving, active listening and accountability are the soft skills to develop.
24 Festive Drums - Rhythm and Movements
Maple Leaf Kingsley International School offers 24 Season Festive Drumming lessons to all students from age 3 to 17 years old. It aims at cultivating cultural appreciation and fostering cultural understanding in a multiracial learning community among our students. The weekly lessons closely associated to enhance MI, are held on Fri from 8:00am to 9:00am. All the lessons are under the instructions of our professional coaches, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Tee. Students learn various drumming skills and coordinated movements. Team spirit, confidence and trust are some of the key qualities embedded slowly in students throughout the mentorship of our experienced coaches.
ML KIS Music Ensemble
Most of us would already know some traditional instruments whether it’s local or European when it comes to traditional instruments and some are violin, the xylophone and glockenspiel. However, a fusion of these western musical equipment is coming into being with our traditional “Angklung” in ML KIS to create joyful melodies. Come and experience our Maple Leaf Kingsley International School’s music ensemble performing some of Malaysian’s classic and other current popular music from around the world.
O24U: Plant for the Future
Sunway International School presents 024U: Plant for the Future. there will be station activities for families to partake in some mini-games and plant a plant while learning more about the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Cheerleading Performance
St. John’s International Secondary School cheerleading squad – The Royals, was the 1st Runner Up at the Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championship.
Don’t miss out on one of the most anticipated performances: their spirit and how they present themselves when they step into the zone and fire up the atmosphere! Cheerleading provides a healthy avenue for inter-school socialisation, exercise and teamwork. Our school believes in the positivity it commends, and it shapes our students into becoming exceptional individuals.
Junior Drone Pilot Edukit
Curious about how drones work? Have you ever wanted to try flying a drone? Meraque’s latest innovation called the Drone EduKit is built to inspire kids and youth in Malaysia to learn about this new technology with a simple setup. Visitors can take part to learn about how to assemble and fly a drone during activity time with Meraque. Through a 45-minute activity with Meraque, visitors will be able to learn not only about drones but also understanding the Unmanned Aerial System, drone technology application and future innovations from Meraque. Come join us at the 17th Private and International School Fair at Mid Valley Megamall and get some hands-on experience on what it is like to fly a drone!
The Colours of Sayfol
Sayfol International School presents “Music Around the World” with our students performing selected music from various backgrounds. Our performing arts showcase hopes to unite Sayfol’s diverse communities and ethnic groups through music and movement from around the world – and create a dialogue where our students embrace freedom of expression.
Contemporary Music Repertoire
The talented musicians at Maximus Music Studio will enchant you with a music repertoire from the most popular Classical Tunes to Movie soundtracks, and even some original pieces. Performed in a setting from individual solos to group ensembles, the one-hour concert will showcase our student’s versatility and capability to interpret music from various periods of time and of course to serenade your listening pleasure.
