Creative Minds is an established education center for children of all ages that offers the use of motivational effects of robotics to excite them in the study of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). We provide classes and organize camps for children as well as run workshops and trainings for schools, businesses and many others. Our mission at Creative Minds is to excite, inspire, and motivate young people about the fun, importance and impact of non-direct education from basic to advanced robotic technologies in today’s world.
Creative Minds is the only center in Malaysia registered as a Certified Robotics Training Centre by the Ministry of Education. We have been running a systematic and a well-received robotics classes for children of all ages not only at our own centers but at various schools across the Klang Valley as well. Creative Minds is manned by qualified individuals who are both passionate about robotics and excited in the role of inspiring the future generation. As such, our students and their parents can be rest assured that they will be getting a quality education at all times.
Our students will be working with the widely known and popular LEGO® MINDSTORMS® building blocks, including the more specialized pieces such as axles, gears, beams, wheels, motors, microcomputers, pneumatics and other parts that will enable them to safely create animated and exciting mechanical movements and other effects. The LEGO® Technic system is also adopted as a standard material for robotics because of its sophisticated and powerful set of mechanical components. Using these and other LEGO® series, our students will be able to build countless robots and program them with a computer to move, react, etc. in order to solve interesting challenges.
Creative Minds run an annual Open Robotics competition – The League of Extraordinary Robots. In addition, Creative Minds has been involved with several other Robotics competitions including National Robotic Competition (NRC), FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) and World Robotic Olympiad. We have sent in team after team made up of students whom we had tutored, guided, advised, etc. and, we are proud to say, walk away with numerous prizes and accolades from these competitions.
Creative Minds is currently the largest Robotics Education Service Provider in Malaysia. We cater service to set up a Robotics club/ class at the schools. We have covered more than 20 private and international schools in Malaysia for Robotics Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA)/ Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) programs. All the necessary resources such as the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® kits, laptops loaded with the required software and course notes will be provided. A facilitator, with the support of an appropriate number of assistants, will guide the students throughout the course.
