The school was recently recognised as the first Certified Visible Learning School in the world. Visible Learning is an evidence-based approach to teaching and learning researched and developed by Professor John Hattie of the University of Melbourne.

School Curriculum:
The Australian International School uses Visible Learning. Visible Learning For the year of 2020 students of AISM achieved the highest possible Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of 99.95. The ATAR is a number between zero and 99.95 that ranks a student in their year group. Part of the new Australian curriculum is to focus on Food and Agriculture. AISM has expanded the school's kitchen facilities. In addition to that it offers units such as Design Technology Food , Food and Nutrition. Other electives offered by AISM are textile and design units. The AISM also offers hands-on Digital Technologies and Agriculture Unit. AISM has new plant systems being introduced in it’s programme for the Agricultural unit. In this unit students are able to combine growing plants and learn to control the plant’s environments through the use of electronics.
